| The Kelowna Drop-In & Information Centre originally grew out of the Unemployment Action Centre which was funded by the BC Federation of Labour and which concluded it's activities in 1986. The doors remained open, however, through funding provided by St. Michael's and All Angels' Church. Services expanded as various individuals and organizations provided financial and material assistance. |
